Why support us
Mark and Elly run a family farm in the small village of Marston on Dove, on the borders of Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We have been hosting educational school visits since 2022, offering hands on experiences for small groups of up to 45-50 children at a time. We find it rewarding to see how much enjoyment each child gets both academically and socially while also giving them a deeper understanding of the rural world. Often children that struggle in a classroom environment thrive on their visits and those children that find ti difficult to engage find their voice and become curious and eager to learn. Community and sponsor support is essential to help us continue this work, ensuring that rural learning stays thriving and accessible for the next generation.
